Beach Volleyball star Humana-Paredes to Vlog in Montreux

Montreux, Switzerland, August 23, 2018- The Montreux Volley Masters will experience an exciting new angle of coverage for the first time ever in 2018, with Canadian Beach Volleyball star Melissa Humana-Paredes making the trip to Montreux to help document new behind-the-scenes content on a YouTube Vlog on the Swiss Riviera.
A Beach Volleyballer by trade, 25-year-old Humana-Paredes has real pedigree in the outdoor code of the international game, with some of her more recent accolades this calendar year including Gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and the Porec Major, as well as topping the podium at the 2018 Gstaad Major during her most recent trip to the Alps, all alongside teammate Sarah Pavan.
A former student of Marketing and Communication at York University, Humana-Paredes is relishing the opportunity to experience all that goes on behind-the-scenes and is unfazed by the crossover into covering the indoor game. Her passion the whole game of Volleyball coupled with her fond memories of Switzerland from Gstaad made the opportunity to travel to Montreux simply too good to turn down.
'I'm so excited to be able to go to the Montreux Volley Masters in Switzerland to Vlog', Humana-Paredes said in a video addressed to fans over social media.

'Switzerland has a special place in my heart after we won the Gstaad Major this year, so I'm so excited to go back and see all of the fans out there and be sure to keep an eye on our YouTube channel!'
With a cross-code champion present to give her insight into all the teams in Montreux and offer her support, the 2018 edition of this most prestigious of invitational tournaments may be a real highlight for Volleyball as well as Beachvolleyball fans this year and one that should certainly not be missed as there are some of the international leading Teams playing during the first week of September.
